About
Welcome!
I’m Heidi Hoefler, a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
I'm trained in both Western nutrition science and Traditional Chinese Medicine 5-Element Nutrition (food energetics). I also bring in Mind-Body Eating Coaching, which means I look at how your relationship with food, your stress, and your daily habits are shaping what you're experiencing, not just what you're eating.
This integrative perspective is deeply personal. My path to holistic nutrition began with my own health challenges: navigating ongoing digestive issues, unexplained fatigue, and symptoms that never seemed to fit neatly into one box. I kept searching for answers in one place, then another, and nothing quite connected.
Eventually I realized it was not a single issue. It was a pattern.
A web of influences that affected one another: stress, digestion, energy, environment, and the way I was supporting my body.
These experiences led me to explore how closely the body and mind influence one another. I realized that certain foods directly influenced how I felt, and I wanted to understand why. That question drove me to study nutrition, physiology, and integrative health, with one goal: to help others facing similar challenges find answers and relief.
My work is built on a simple truth: we are not just physical beings; our emotions and daily experiences deeply shape our health. If you’ve ever noticed your digestion worsen after a hard day or your energy crash when you’re overwhelmed, you already know this connection firsthand. Often, what we suppress or fail to express emotionally shows up as physical symptoms over time. By looking at food, emotions, and lifestyle as pieces of the same puzzle, I pair this real-world understanding with modern nutritional science to help you understand your body in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and empowering.
My training gives me a framework for understanding why your body is doing what it's doing. Not just the what, but the why. That's what makes the difference between a plan that's generic and one that actually fits you.
My intention is to educate and guide you to build a supportive relationship with food and your body. I take a broad view of how nutrition, physiology, and lifestyle work together to create a balanced, individualized strategy to nurture your system.
I work with people navigating gut health, inflammation, hormone and metabolic concerns, weight concerns, and low energy, using personalized nutrition, herbal support, and lifestyle changes to help them find their way back to balance.
